Reusing Polyethylene (PE)
The recycling of polyethylene has two major benefits. Firstly, it reduces the need for petroleum in the production of Safetybags. Secondly, it lowers greenhouse gas emissions. Reusing polyethylene also requires less energy compared to producing new polyethylene.
The Use of the Recycled Safetybag
The recycled Safetybags are equipped with an absolutely liquid-tight security closure. The packaging is made from strong, transparent recycled polyethylene, ensuring liquids are securely contained. By simply removing the cover strip, the bag can be hermetically sealed. The Safetybag is highly suitable as secondary, liquid-tight packaging for biological substances from category B.
In combination with the Transportblister, the PolyMed shipping envelope, and sufficient absorbent materials, this composition complies with packaging regulations P650, P904, and PI959.
