The packaging instruction P(I)650 is a packaging standard required for air transport. For road transport (ADR), it is the packaging instruction P650. The standard pertains to the strength of the packaging, leak and air tightness (95 kPa), and the inclusion of absorbent material.
The triple packaging for road and air transport is comparable. The packaging consists of three components. The first part is the primary container, such as our tubes and containers. The second component is the secondary packaging, which is the liquid-tight bag with sufficient absorbent material. The final component is the outer packaging in which it is shipped.
